Laser Hair Removal
Say goodbye to shaving, waxing and ingrown hairs – Skin Shore offers advanced laser hair removal using the medical-grade UltraLUX Pro system by The Global Beauty Group. Safe, fast and effective for a wide range of skin types, this treatment delivers long-lasting results with minimal discomfort or downtime.

How it works
The UltraLUX Pro uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology with a built-in cooling system for a more comfortable treatment. Light energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair, which travels down the follicle to inhibit future growth. Over time, this results in finer, slower-growing hair – and eventually, permanent reduction in treated areas.
What to Expect: The Treatment Process
1. Consultation & Patch Test
Before starting your treatment, we’ll conduct a thorough consultation to assess your skin and hair type, ensure you’re suitable for IPL, and perform a patch test at least 24 hours prior to your first session.
2. Before Your Appointment
To get the best results and avoid irritation, follow these pre-treatment guidelines:
-
Shave the area 12–24 hours before your session
-
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and fake tan for at least 2 weeks prior
-
Discontinue waxing, plucking, or epilating 4 weeks before treatment
-
Skip active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) on the area for 3–5 days before your appointment
-
Arrive with clean, product-free skin
3. During the Treatment
You’ll be given protective eyewear and made comfortable. We’ll apply a cooling gel to the treatment area, then glide the UltraLUX Pro handpiece over your skin, delivering quick flashes of light. You may feel a mild snapping or warm sensation, but most clients find the treatment very tolerable. Sessions are quick – small areas like underarms take just minutes!
4. Aftercare & Results
Post-treatment, you may notice mild redness or warmth in the area – this usually settles within a few hours. It’s important to:
-
Keep the area cool and avoid heat (hot showers, saunas, exercise) for 24–48 hours
-
Wear SPF daily on exposed areas
-
Avoid sun exposure, exfoliating, or active ingredients for a few days
-
Don’t pluck or wax between sessions – shaving is fine
Hair typically begins to shed within 7–14 days, and most people notice visible reduction after just a few sessions. For best results, a course of 8–10 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended.
